Getting Started with the UDAP Test Tool

The UDAP Profiles themselves listed at UDAP.org, underlying RFCs, and the resources posted beneath the profiles at UDAP.org are the best places to refer to when starting to work the UDAP workflows into a FHIR client and/or server(s).

Client_IP and User_IP refer to the IP addresses of your FHIR client application and of the user (for authorization code flow), respectively. The Test Tool needs to know which IP addresses the connections will be coming from.

It's a good idea to join the UDAP Google Group. This contains questions from other UDAP Developers, Google Slide decks from the last few HL7 FHIR connectathons, connectathon track pages, and other information. The Connectathon notes include sample JWTs and discussion of where and how they are used. The Google Group is generally the best place for questions about implementing UDAP.
