Custom Integration
Designed for Ease of Implementation
Our phiMail Direct Messaging (HISP) service can be accessed by
integrators in their own applications with our custom-integration SDK
or through standard XDR or SMTP interfaces. Easily connect to our servers,
compose a message with or without file attachments, or
decrypt and view a received message and its attachments.
We take care of the Direct certificates and encryption
for you so you can focus on content and workflow.
phiQuery HL7 FHIR services are also available through a similar easy-integration API.
Lightweight connectors are available for Java,
.NET (C# and VB), PHP, Node.js, Ruby and other environments,
or design your own.
You can incorporate Direct Messaging into your own
customized workflow in as little as a few hours.
And yes, we have an integration DLL!
ONC Certification for Health IT
If you are seeking ONC certification, our integration tools can be used to meet ONC's Direct Messaging and FHIR API criteria.
EMR Direct Interoperability Engine also includes support for edge protocols and delivery notifications needed for ONC (b)(1) and (h)(1) certification testing, and functionality to help you meet the (g)(7), (g)(9), and new (g)(10) Standardized API for patient and population services criteria using our HL7 FHIR services.
We offer step-by-step guidance on use of the Direct-related testing tools with our services that make certification testing a breeze. EMR Direct was the first ONC (h)(2) certified HISP in November, 2016, and we've helped many EMR vendors certify for (b)(1), (h)(1), and (g)(7-10) since then. Some vendors have been able to integrate our service and certify the next day!
