"The credentials supplied to the package were not recognized" Error

This Windows error message means that your application or service does not have read access to the private key associated with your EMR Direct phiMail client authentication certificate. If you haven't changed or migrated the certificate, this suggests that your application is running under a different user or service identity than expected, or that the permissions for your certificate have been changed.

To change the access control list of the private key, open MMC and select "Manage Private Keys". On the "Security" tab, click "Add" to add a user to the access list or if the user already exists, you can click on the existing user and modify the permissions in the box right below the "Add" button.
